Posted at 10:00 am, December 11, 2013 in Food & Drink, Photos of London, Technology

Boring old two-dimensional photography stifling your creativity? Get a load of Seene. This free iPhone app lets you shoot and share lifelike 3D photos. The Seene team are based based on Regents canal above Shoreditch, so they ventured out into their ‘hood to capture their favourite local East End cafés…

Embassy East
‘One of the best kept secrets in Hoxton. We often eat here for lunch, and always bump into friends who work nearby.’

Tina We Salute You

‘Stevie and Danny make super tasty brunch style food, and also run the space as a gallery, with different artists taking over and redesigning the interior and exterior on a regular basis.’

Reilley Rocket
‘This Antipodean style cafe in the centre of Dalston is a strong contender for Best New Place We Go To A Lot.’

Allpress
‘A New Zealand coffee roastery and café based on Redchurch Street. Their food is top notch and their coffee is serious stuff with a global reputation to back it up.’

Climpson & Sons
‘With a prime location on Broadway Market, Climpson have been supplying regular hangover cures for the population of east London, and recently opened a much larger coffee roastery and event space behind London Fields.’

Leila’s
‘Styled like an old English larder, Leila’s is both a cafe and a grocery shop, split across two units. Their main dishes are eggs with pancetta, or eggs without pancetta. There’s beauty in their simplicity.’

Mouse & de Lotz
‘Located between Dalston and Hackney Downs, next to the excellent Yoga On The Lane, M&dL is a great little cafe with consistently good food, and it perfectly matches a post yoga appetite.’
