If you ever thought that a bloody mary was a healthier choice of cocktail (tomatoes, celery… that’s two of your five-a-day, right?), burgers ‘n’ booze chain The Diner’s four-kilo, 2,000-calorie beast is here to change your mind.
As well as the usual vodka and tabasco, ‘The Bloody Lot’ is garnished with a hot dog sausage, onion rings, grilled corn, lamb slammers, cheese, pickles and bacon. But don’t worry, this isn’t intended as some kind of vulgar man vs booze challenge – a jug costs £45 and is designed for eight to share, at any one of the seven branches of The Diner across London. Well worth getting hungover for, if you ask us. Ally Swadling
