Video: rare colour footage of London in 1927

This great little video by film pioneer Claude Friese-Greene has been doing the rounds for a while but in case you haven’t seen it yet, we wanted to share it with you. It’s some of the first-ever colour film footage of London, and we think you’ll agree that it’s pretty special. And below, check out a brilliant stunning shot-for-shot modern day remake, showing how much – and how little! – things have changed in the last 86 years:
