Remember Ziferblat, London’s first pay-per-minute café, ‘where everyone can feel at home’? Given that it was so very popular the first time we blogged about it, we thought we’d keep you up to date with its recent (slightly unfortunate) news.

The truth is, Ziferblat fans, the café needs YOU. Last night an update was posted to their Facebook page: ‘Friends, Our coffee machine has died. Obviously we dreamed about having loads of guests but we never imagined so many would turn up.’ Unable to afford to buy a new machine, the Ziferblat team is asking anybody who would be able to donate one to get in touch: ‘in exchange for the fact that a thousand people will use it every day, and love it as their own.’ Let’s help keep this great little joint going.
