Indie film magazine Little White Lies is famous for its exceedingly collectible, beautifully put-together issues. Their latest is devoted to all things ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ and directors the Coen brothers. To celebrate, LWL commissioned seven artists to each create a screen print of a Coens film in the style of a class gig poster. We very much like Luke Drozd’s constant sorrows hang-dog for ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’ and Crispin Finn’s ‘Barton Fink’. Best of all is scene-stealing ginger tom Ulysses in Telegramme’s ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ poster.
The prints are on show in Shoreditch and the exhibition runs until Feb 1, 10am until 5pm on weekdays, 10am until 4pm on the weekend. A limited run of all of the prints will be for sale at a price of £85 each.
You can watch them being printed here.
