Know any budding Peter Pans? Their luck could be in next week, with Warner Bros. set to hold an open audition for the role of the boy who never grew up. The chosen child will star in a new movie by ‘Atonement’ director Joe Wright, alongside Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard and Garrett Hedlund as Hook. The studio is anticipating a major crush at Wembley Arena when gates open at 9am on Sunday February 23, as the queue will open for two hours only and there’s no overnight camping allowed.

The audition is open to boys aged 11-13 and there’s a height limit of 5ft 4, but children of all ethnicities are welcome and anyone who can’t make it on the day can send a tape instead. Potential Peters must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Looking good in green and a firm belief in fairies will probably help, too. Francesca Leung
