One of London’s truly pivotal ’90s club nights – The Heavenly Social – is back once again.
After starting out below a pub near Oxford Circus, this infamous Sunday party made stars of its resident DJs – a young Manchester duo who later became the Chemical Brothers.
It was where Britpop got its groove on and where a certain Norman Cook turned up, got a hug from the DJs and ended up getting a set the following week.
Fast forward to this Friday and Mr Fatboy Slim will be heading down to The Social for another Sunday session like old times. But this time, you won’t even need to worry about having a hangover on Monday.
Find out how to get to see him this Friday, read our interview with Fatboy Slim and get the lowdown on the club’s past and current revival here.
