Bargain hunters, rejoice: Netil Market Yard Sale is back

Netil House

Forget milkshake – we know what really brings all the boys (and girls) to the yard. A good old fashioned American-style yard sale, that’s what. Hackney’s Netil Market is hosting its popular retro shopping extravaganza for the third time on February 23– and if previous events are anything to go by, it’s time to go buy.

Selling pretty much anything you can imagine – from vintage clothes to art to junk furniture – the Yard Sale is a chance to have a proper rummage, with low prices and a laid back boot sale vibe. Got some stuff to shift? Nab yourself a pitch for £8 (email bug@creativenetworkpartners.com to book).

Should you get peckish with all that rifling there’ll be a handful of market shacks on standby – Terrone & Co coffee and Morty and Bob’s Grilled Cheese are included in the line-up.

Time Out would never advocate violence – God forbid – but all we’re saying is there’ll be some serious bargains to be had. Use those elbows as you will. Flo Wales Bonner

Netil Market Yard Sale, Sun Feb 23, 1 Westgate St, E8 3RL. 11am-4pm. Free entry.
