China had its terracotta army, Eminem had his toy soldiers and now, thanks to the latest round of budget cuts, Britain is set to unveil its new form of serviceman, the toast soldier. Ok, this technically isn’t true at all, but it wouldn’t be that surprising if it was, would it?
As part of its annual fundraising efforts on behalf of Help for Heroes, the wise people over at Eggs for Soldiers have created the world’s first army of toast soldiers, set to go on display at London’s Royal Artillery Museum this month. This battalion of wholemeal and white wonders were created using specially designed cutters, to ensure that as well as looking great, they’re also the perfect size to be dunked into your molten eggs in the morning.
Fancy creating your own army of toast warriors? Of course you do! Well Eggs for Soldiers has announced that it’s giving away 1,500 of its bespoke cutters – all you have to do is like this Facebook page, fill in a few details and you too could be on your way to toast-enabled world domination.
