Hands up who likes art and booze? What about cutting-edge new music? Thought so. Here’s one for you, then: trendy Dalston boozer and music venue The Shacklewell Arms has announced Repeater, a brand spanking new bi-monthly mini-festival hosted by London promoters Lanzarote.

The first Repeater weekend kicks off on Friday March 14. Raucous, experimental rock duo Gentle Friendly headline, with hazy electronica from Moon Gangs in tow and Shacklewell regulars Beach Creep spinning tunes until 3am. Saturday’s all-dayer hosts a plethora of bands ranging from White Fang’s scuzzy garage rock to Keel Her’s dreamy DIY pop, before Manchester alt-rock outfit Patterns and atmospheric shoegazers Relics wrap things up on Sunday.

So much for the music – but as well as the ace band line-up, Repeater comes with a real ale festival (swigs aplenty) and a record, zine and art fair selling paintings and prints by local artists. If all that sounds like your bag, book now – tickets are limited. Alexander Gillespie
