Singaporean photographer Yangchen Lin is set to display his unique photography of the world’s oldest underground transport network – y’know the one we all love and hate with equal passion. ‘Tubographical Transactions’ shows Lin using an array of photographic techniques to capture the Underground from different perspectives, in an effort to display the intimate relationship between man and machine.
Where other Underground photography focuses on the architectural or human elements of the tube, Lin is more interested in capturing our daily interaction with such an artificially constructed network of underground tunnels.
The exhibition runs March 14-22 at the Subway gallery, with a preview on March 13 at 6pm.
