C-Stock Train tour

Calling all tube nerds – if you can tell your C-stock from your S-stock trains, then we’ve got a treat for you. To mark the old C-stock trains being taken out of commission, the London Transport Museum are organising a day trip around the capital’s transport network on one of the soon-to-be decommissioned trains.

The tour will take place on Sunday April 13 encompassing a journey through the Metropolitan line, part of the Piccadilly (even though it never actually ran on that line) and both District and Hammersmith and City lines. However, it’s quite a commitment – starting at 10am and ending at 5pm (with an hour break for lunch) – so be prepared to sit back and enjoy a rather lengthy commute.

Tickets cost £40 for adults, £15 for kids (no under 11s), with all proceeds from the event going to the Railway Children charity.

For more info on the event and to book tickets head to ltmuseum.co.uk.
