Yes, yes – we know we’re your number one stop for the latest feline news in London, but we may soon have a rival thanks to a new Kickstarter campaign. They’ve already got the internet in their thrall, and now designer Maria Joudina wants to bring cats into the world of print with a new magazine called Puss Puss.
This is no knitting mag for loaners and losers (we cat ladies generally get a bad rep) filled with naff cat outfits and cat food advice. No, sir! This magazine is for the culturally minded, fashion conscious, trend-setting cat lover and will set out to dispel all your preconceived notions of frumpy kitty enthusiasts. So far, the crowd-funding campaign has raised £3,000 but it has another £17,000 to go. With 15 days left and the success of crowd-funded café Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium as encouragement, we expect this little number to be hitting the shelves in no time. Carly-Ann Clements
