Hoarders – your country needs you. Yes, this is your chance to help archive Britain’s culinary history, through the simplest medium of all: its menus. Yes, the food-meets-art crew at Bompas & Parr are working on the British Menu Archive, a collection of menus designed to celebrate the changing face of our dining scene through the years.
So come on, get rummaging, and hunt down your old menus – they’re looking for anything and everything, from your local takeaway pizza menu, to the one from that time you flew Concorde (what – just us?). Not only do you get to clear out your drawers (always a good feeling), and be part of something bigger than yourself, but a few lucky contributors will also win tickets to the exhibition’s glitzy launch event.
