A feast from the east: The Art of Dining heads to Osterley House

Posted at 2:30 pm, April 29, 2014 in Arts & Entertainment, Food & Drink

The foodtastic brains behind The Art of Dining have teamed up with the National Trust for their latest delicious endeavour, an evening designed to guide diners through the fine and exotic goods brought from the Orient by the forefathers of Mr Robert Child. The delectable five-course feast inspired by his travels will be served amidst the treasures he collected and housed in the long gallery at Osterley House, an impressive Georgian country estate in west London.

As prospective patrons of the East India Trading Company, diners will be entertained in style and plied with exotic treats in a bid to secure investment. It’s pretty pricey at £55 but it does include five courses, a welcome drink, entertainment throughout the night and access to some unseen gems. East to Osterley runs from May 7-9 and 12-18. Tickets available at theartofdining.co.uk.
