Create some infectiously good cake with Science London

Scibake

Hearing about germs swarming our computer keyboards, hand rails and dodgy takeaways dishes would be enough to make anyone feel queasy, but preparing food at the same time might just be the icing on the cake. Literally.

That’s thanks to Science London who are back at the Book Club for the second instalment of their SciBake series where pathology experts will give talks about the pesky little microbes and answer any questions you might have, while you decorate cakes inspired by them.

Prizes will be dished out for the funniest and most creative cupcakes, so get your text books out and brush up on your bacterial knowledge. A slice of salmonella has never sounded so tasty!

Monday May 12. Book Club, 100 Leonard Street. Tickets £3 and available here.
