Rotorino brings a touch of class to Dalston

‘Hip’, ‘grungy’, ‘rowdy’ – there are many adjectives you could use to describe Dalston, but ‘upmarket’ is not usually one of them. It’s one of those places where there’s always something going on, and it usually involves being just a little uncomfortable, plus plenty of people in ironic T-shirts. But with Stevie Parle’s new restaurant opening on Kingsland Road, this east London party area might just have got a bit more sophisticated. On top of the smart interior and interesting, Southern Italian menu, there’s a drinks list from Ruth Spivey from wine pop-up Wine Car Boot, plus plenty of space for a quiet drink at the bar.
