In the mood for a party? Of course you are – and you can always trust those mavericks at Secret Cinema to dish up the goods. We’ve heard it through the grapevine that the cult film-and-theatre club is putting on a street party in Crouch End this Sunday (May 25), as a send-off to their smash-hit ’20s-themed production ‘Secret Cinema 21’. The free event – called the ‘Election Results Day Fête’ – will see guests transformed into citizens of the town of Beaumont, awaiting the results of a fiercely-fought election battle. There’ll be a fête, an inauguration rally, music, and ‘fortified tea’ (we like the sound of that) – and, no doubt, many surprises along the way. Though it’s free, you’re wise not to just rock up – secure your spot in the crowd on the event’s Facebook page. Oh, yeah – and tell no one… Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, N8 9JJ. Sun May 25 – 2-4.30pm. Entrance is free.

Shhh! Take a peek into London’s best secret bars and nights out.
