Back to the future

Got plans for late July/August? Hullo? Hullo? Think, McFly! You have now – tickets are about to go on sale for Secret Cinema’s summer production of ‘Back To The Future’.

The Secret Cinema team will be painstakingly recreating Hill Valley – the setting for Marty, Doc and Einstein’s flux capacitor-based adventures. Expect a lightning-struck clock tower and Hill Valley High, where Michael J Fox’s character desperately tries to unite his parents at the Enchantment Under The Sea dance before all his limbs disappear.

As usual, audience participation is a huge part of the experience, with wormholes (well, doors) allowing guests to shuttle between 1955 and 1985, or become Lorraine, Biff, George or their favourite ‘BTTF’ character, plus live bands will be competing to play on stage at the dance/after-party.

Secret Cinema presents ‘Back To The Future’ runs from July 24 to August 10. Tickets are available from 1pm on Thursday at secretcinema.org/tickets. Please note: DeLorean parking at the event is strictly limited.
