Topman recently unveiled a stunning new personal shopping suite and a new floor at its Oxford Circus flagship. So it’s in the mood to celebrate. What better way to mark the occasion than a festival of free music, workshops, talks and general fashion mayhem, open to all? No better way, we say.
Yesterday saw Tom Vek and the Klaxons pitch up with a free gig in an impressive second floor stage set-up, complete with authentic festival foliage. Festival highlights include gigs from Toy, Telegram, Only Real – all set against an auspicious backdrop of Topman jackets and jeans. Meanwhile, fashion brands will join in to customise your clothes or fashion you something bespoke – throughout the festival, you can design your own Eye Respect specs for £90 on the spot. If you’re something of a sartorial intellectual, you can sit in on Saturday’s fashion panel with Alex Rayner of Dazed & Confused and stylist Nova Dando at 2pm, and hang around to hear Toy at 6pm. Well, it beats the inevitable rain over at Field Day, eh?
Topman Festival runs until June 7. The full line-up is available at topman.com/oxfordcircus.
