Ever noticed the brown boat that looks like it’s about to set sail straight off the edge of the South Bank’s Purcell Room? Well if you’ve been walking around with your eyes shut for the past two years and haven’t seen it already, Living Architecture’s ship-shaped A Room For London is perched on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall and offers visitors the chance to spend one evening marvelling at stunning, 360-degree views of the capital.
Reserving the room and soaking up the sights isn’t as easy as just turning up to a Holiday Inn. The £300 one-night slots at A Room For London are allocated by a public ballot months in advance. The good news is that the ballot for this year’s reservations is open until midnight tomorrow (Tuesday June 24) and you can register your details for a booking at A Room For London this August, September or October here.
There’s even better news, however: we’re giving one lucky Time Outer and a guest the chance to stay in A Room For London for free this summer! Simply answer the question below to win a night’s stay on Tuesday August 19:
