It’s been nearly seven years since ‘The Mighty Boosh’ left our screens, but fans of the surreal mischief makers are still as devoted as ever. That’s why we’re giving you this heads up that Noel Fielding – the pointy-faced, trendy-haired half of the duo – is performing six low-key work-in-progress shows at the Jackson’s Lane Theatre in August, so you can snap up tickets before the crazy Boosh megafans snaffle them all.
Fielding is working on material for this first stand-up tour in five years – An Evening with Noel Fielding – which is heading to the Hammersmith Apollo and Brixton Academy this autumn. But if you’d rather catch his absurdist flights of fantasy in a more intimate venue it’s best to book for these warm-ups gigs pretty sharpish, before they sell out. Try to stay calm, now. Calm a llama down, if you have to.
