So it’s nearly here. Yes the WORLD CUP FINAL is happening tomorrow eve at 8pm. There are plenty of places to watch it all over London but why not pick a side and head to one of these German/Argentinian places and cheer along your team of choice.
Herman Ze German
This organic German sausage vendor is screening the final in both of its central London homes. Reserve a table in ze Basement for £10 per person deposit (redeemable against food and drink) or you can just walk up, try your luck and chow down on their Brazil-inspired wurst!
These OTT beerhouses at Old Street and Tower Hill are throwing the last of their World Cup football nights on Sunday and we predict that the atmosphere will be pretty electric! The match will be shown on giant screens, with steins of German beers and plates of sausages and pork shanks served by their delightful fräuleins! Reservations for dining are all already fully booked but you can still rock up for a drink and a cheer.
This self-proclaimed authentic Munich beer hall is having a World Cup extravaganza from noon tomorrow – no booking necessary – it’s first come first serve. They are unbelievably enthusiastic about the final and are offering what they call a whole day of ‘football-tainment’.
This German stronghold in Fulham is hosting a ticketed event on Sunday for the final – grab your tickets quick by visiting their website. There’s German ales and food on offer, and there’ll be a strong turnout from west London-based German supporters, we’d imagine.
This German restaurant has been following the World Cup from the word go and now they’re laying on a special menu to celebrate. The match will be shown on two huge projector screens and HD TVs so book now to get a good seat.
This little London Fields gem brands itself as the ‘one and only’ Argentine grill and on Sunday they’re planning a whole host of World Cup fun. If the weather stays nice they will be putting a screen outside for everyone to enjoy, and if not, being huddled inside it is (better atmosphere that way!) Tables are available to book as usual or just pop on by for a drink.
This weekend the Argentinian chain are offering football fans the chance to watch the final in style. Book a table now and chow down on a fine steak while you watch.
Moo Cantina Argentina
These guys have been distributing wall charts for people to keep track of the scores throughout the games so we imagine they’ll be getting into quite a frenzy. Reserve a spot at one of the restaurants or just pop in for a drink and to soak up the cheers/boos.
This Argentinian restaurant is offering regional dishes from across the country and a good atmosphere for the final showdown. They recommend booking in advance, as it’s set to be a full house!
Comedor Grill & Bar
This Islington restaurant will be showing the game and are inviting paying guests to dine or drink with them to celebrate, whatever the outcome!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! #fencesitting
