Arabica: Levantine cooking like no other in Borough Market

So you’ve vaguely heard of the Levant, but you can’t point to it on a map. Don’t sweat it. It’s simply an old-fashioned name for the region (shaped sort of like a backwards ‘C’) hugging the Mediterranean sea, that once encompassed southern Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and northern Egypt. Now just think of being able to pick the greatest culinary hits from each of those countries and stick them on one super-album. That’s Levantine cooking. When it’s done properly, it kicks ass. But what did our reviewer make of Levantine newcomer Arabica?
