Ever accidentally rack up a higher Boris Bike charge than you intended by straying too far afield? Well, just imagine the shock for the rider of a bike that was found this week. In Wolverhampton. Having been checked out at some point in 2011, the bicycle was picked up by CID officers in the city and is now heading back to London (a 12-hour cycle according to Google Maps). Last year, when a photo circulated of a Boris Bike seen in a Gambian village, TfL explained that they sometimes donate the bikes to charities. It’s not got that bad in the Midlands, though, surely?
