Surprise surprise, ping-pong mecca Bounce is looking to move to Shoreditch! It makes perfect sense that the bar, which brings together the winning combo of booze, ping-pong and pizza, would want to find an east London home. The Shoreditch venue they’re looking at is a car park below Sainsbury’s on the corner of Old Street and Pitfield Street and would follow the same formula as the Holborn branch with a 440 person capacity, pizza restaurant and 18 ping-pong tables. Our friends over at Dalstonist inform us that it’ll be open until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, until 1am from Thursday to Saturday and open to local schools to play for free during the day! Hackney Council has the planning application and should be making a decision in the next few months. Watch this space.

In the meantime, read all about the Bounce in Holborn.
