Last week, London was like an episode of ‘Record Breakers’. Albeit minus Kriss Akabusi. In honour of Books About Town’s month of installing book-shaped benches across London, 113 Sherlock Holmes fans gathered at UCL to set a world record for the most people dressed as the fictional detective.
Then retro gamers set their own record on Sunday, when 293 people dressed as Tetris blocks in Elephant & Castle to celebrate the game’s thirtieth anniversary. Amazingly, they broke the record for the longest human Tetris line. How the hell did they fit in all those annoying S-shaped pieces?
Watch out! Here’s London’s top ten record breakers.
