When it comes to food stalls, things are kicking off in Wapping this summer. First there was the opening of a new weekly food market in the area back in June, and this month it’s time for the FEAST food festival to return. Food vendors will include restaurants such as Hutong, Dirty Bones and Union Street Café, plus street food traders including Anna Mae’s Mac n Cheese, the Cheese Truck and more. There will also be live music, plenty of drinks and for the brave there’s an ‘eat your own taxidermy’ workshop to sign up for (£70). Tasty. If that all sounds like hard work, head to the ‘Tea House’ for a more zen-like experience with a relaxing cup of cha or full-on tea ceremony (£5).
Feast, Tobacco Dock, E1W 2SF, July 31-Aug 3. Tickets £10 per session, or £25 unlimited entry. Masterclasses are extra.
