You know all those photos you see of people having the time of their lives at cool nightclubs? Friends, that could be you this very weekend. Just follow our weekend clubbing recommendations below or head to our Clubs page for lots more top party options.
Producer of some superb robotic electro-funk, Daniel Avery swoops into Fabric to launch a new club night, Divided Love. Given Avery’s production pedigree and ear for electronic excellence, this can only be a very good thing. Joining him are some equally excellent names, including twitchy, punky techno act Factory Floor playing live, plus further live sets from shadowy electronica duo Dopplerefekt and soundscapist Helena Huff. Room Two is hosted by Exit Records, with footwork raver Machinedrum getting behind the decks, while Skeptical and dBridge indulge in some dark drum ‘n’ bass missions.
Glaswegian house music maestro and selector extraordinaire Jackmaster continues his residency run at Shoreditch club XOYO. Tonight it’s a big one, with UK bass ace Joy Orbison joining in the fun. JO is a bit of a master when it comes to a whole host of dancefloor-filling genres (check his timeless, deep, club track ‘Hyph Mngo’), so a back-to-back set between him and Jack is something for lovers of four-four to get very excited about indeed.
Summer may be on its way out, but it ain’t over yet. Make the most of it with this daytime terrace party, steered by the Balearic, superbly sunny grooves of UK house producer Burnski. Also getting behind the decks to spin sharp, summery house will be Monika Ross and Violent Blondes (we’re guessing that Peaceful Blondes must have been too busy).
