Think cooking a slap-up dinner for your significant other is pretty romantic? Think again. A loved-up guy in north-west London’s just gone and outdone every other boyfriend in the city.

A police helicopter caught the anonymous fella using what appears to be candles to write ‘will you marry me’ on the grass at Gladstone Park in Dollis Hill. When the words showed up as glowing letters thanks to the helicopter’s heat sensors, the MPS shared a snap of the message on Twitter.

They tweeted: ‘We think we have just seen the most romantic guy in north London.’

The feds have since hunted down the couple – who want to remain unnamed – and revealed that the happy pair now officially engaged! Congrats guys!
