What do the distant planets of Tatooine and Arrakis have in common? Sand, yes. Heat, okay. Lawlessness, gotcha. They’re both fictional, noted. Now there’s one more angle linking these remote, sun baked worlds – their primary exports are now available at Tesco in Brixton. Thanks to the efforts of hipster art-troublemakers id-iom, the residents of south London can now pop down to their local hypermarket and pick up either a four-pint carton of ‘Star Wars’-themed Bantha Milk (bright blue, just like your Aunt Beru used to serve it) or a four-gram ‘Dune’-themed jar of the mind-expanding spice Melange, the rarest commodity in the known universe. Of course you can’t actually buy these products, they’re just to tickle passing nerds. But hey, anything to make that weekly shopping trip a bit more bearable.

Which products do you think Brixton Tesco should stock next? Romulan Ale? Soylent Green? Moloko Plus? Pan-Galactic Gargle-Blasters? Give us your geekiest suggestions below…
