Egg-cellent – it’s that time of year again where we squeeze in as many fowl puns as chickenly possible. That’s right, the fourth annual Scotch Egg Challenge is almost upon us. It’ll kick off at 7.30pm on Tuesday September 16… scratch that into your diary! You can egg-spect chefs from all over the country to be getting in a flap as they take a crack at the title. Last year, top of the pecking order was a creation from the British Larder in Suffolk, but with new entries flying in, 2014’s winner will be hen-yone’s guess.
