Time Out Magazine

If the term ‘Made in London’ conjures up cringeworthy tattoos, it’s time to think again. This city is brimming with people creating amazing physical things with their fair hands and this week’s Time Out Magazine is dedicated to the artisan trades that are alive and well in the capital. There’s tofu being made on Brick Lane, bikes from Croydon, smoked salmon in Stoke Newington, bells in Whitechapel, honey in Brockley and cola in Dalston. Who knew? If you like to shop local (and even if you don’t), you need to read this.

Elsewhere in the mag we have a chat with Jessie Ware, Douglas Booth and Cerith Wyn Evans, pick out London’s best party venues, learn how to forage, find out about living on a narrowboat, get drunk on autumnal cocktails, review the new Aphex Twin album ‘Syro’ (and give it ★★★★☆ FYI), check out the newest nightlife spots, drink the city’s best cider and choose our top ten beautiful buildings. Phew! Enjoy…

Grab your magazine at your local tube station tomorrow morning, find it at a mainline station or pick it up from one of hundreds of locations across London, or subscribe for 50p a week

You can also buy this week’s issue from Wednesday on your Apple or Android device, so you can swipe, pinch and scroll through at your leisure.
