London Film Festival 2014

This morning, tickets went on sale for all events at this year’s London Film Festival, which kicks off on October 8 in Leicester Square and cinemas across the city. This year’s lineup is exceptionally strong, with major Hollywood blockbusters like wrestling drama ‘Foxcatcher’ and Brad Pitt’s gnarly WWII flick ‘Fury’ screening alongside tiny arthouse masterpieces from all across the globe. If you’re in any doubt about what to see at the festival, the best place to start is our handy ‘25 films you need to see‘ guide, covering everything from heavy-hitters like the opening night film, ‘The Imitation Game’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch, to a wealth of new indie comedies, genre-bending horror movies and arty dramas.

Tickets are available at bfi.org.uk/lff, but don’t be disappointed if all the major titles have already been snapped up – we’re running a competition to win tickets to ten of the biggest red carpet gala screenings.
