How do you plant a tree on top of a 580ft skyscraper?

With the Sky Garden opening in December, we’re starting to get very excited about the ‘floating garden’ that will sit at the top of 20 Fenchurch Street.

And if you’re wondering how exactly they’re going to plant a garden at the summit of a 580ft skyscraper, here’s your answer. A just-released video shows huge trees being transported to the roof by a crane.

The restaurant line-up’s also just been revealed. Expect a seafood bar and grill on level 37, a modern brasserie serving up Scottish beef and bubble and squeak on level 36 and a bar on level 35 serving late-night cocktails. Yes please.
