Russian Revels

Modern day Moscow makes plenty of headlines, but outside the exploits of Putin and politics, the former Soviet Union’s culture often goes unnoticed in the UK. Russian Revels, the culinary collective bringing Baltic Sea flavours across Europe to the capital, are back with ‘Dacha’, a three-day pop-up showcasing traditional countryside flavours from the Ukranian steppe and the Georgian mountains at the South Bank’s Real Food Market from September 26-28. Dacha, the Russian word for ‘country house’, will also host talks and tastings led by producers. So raise a Russian vodka and discover the traditional Russia’s countryside cuisine this September. Za zdarov’e! (That’s cheers to you and me).

Real Food Market, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Rd, SE1 8XX. www.russianrevels.co.uk. Sept 26-28.
