As part of Bugged Out’s twentieth birthday celebrations, the crew are getting fantastically French for an evening of electro and chunky beats at XOYO. Bromance label founder Brodinski plays a six-hour set and Ed Banger main man Busy P gets busy with a 1994-2014 set.
JD Twitch and Johnny Wilkes, the duo who helped shape Scotland’s clubbing culture with Optimo, their eclectic house/techno/all sorts night at Glasgow’s Sub Club, return to London for another crate-digging, genre-busting journey through two huge record collections. Expect anything from acid to dub to disco to house to funk. Golden Teacher and General Ludd support.
It’s farewell for another season to one of London’s top parties, Secretsundaze. As ever with James Priestley and Giles Smith’s forward-thinking event (13 years strong), there are some heavyweight house and techno names steering the fun, including acclaimed US house spinner DJ QU, electronica warper Lone and further house and techno from Konx-om-Pax and Brawther.
