Watch live footage of the animals at London Zoo

Posted at 1:15 pm, October 14, 2014 in Fun London

Are you having the most miserable of miserable days? We don’t blame you, it’s a very gloomy Tuesday. BUT, we do have a potential cure for all your woes.

London Zoo is now live-streaming all the action from their otter, meerkat and giant tortoise enclosures on YouTube so you can watch the animals from your desk. It’s part of a project to test new technology known as TV White Space which the pros are hoping will help them stop poaching and illegal logging elsewhere in the world.

Project coordinator Louise Hartley says: ‘With projects in more than 50 countries around the world, ZSL’s conservationists work in some of the planet’s most difficult-to-reach areas, from the vast expanse of the Saudi Arabian desert to the dense jungles of Sumatra.’

Tune into animal TOWIE here.
