The best part of the working day? LUNCH. Here are four ways to make your break more exciting this week.

1. Visit ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red‘ at the Tower of London

You’ve only got until November 11 to catch the moat of poppies at the Tower of London. BEWARE: TOURISTS.

2.  Visit Celebrabis Vitae

Halloween is over, but keep the spooky vibes going by heading to a free exhibition of skull art at the Box Museum in French Place. It’s running until November 6.

3. Head to a gallery talk at the British Museum

The British Museum runs talks every Tuesday–Saturday from 1.15pm. This week you can learn about Chinese bronzes, printmaking, Roman tables and economic history through emerald-tinted glasses.

4. Go see the Christmas lights on Oxford Street

The big lights switch-on is taking place on Thursday night, but avoid the crowds and go have a peak during your lunch hour on Friday.
