Good news to anyone who hasn’t made it to see the Tower of London poppies yet – some of them are staying put until the end of November.
The installation was supposed to be fully dismantled after November 11, but organisers have decided to keep ‘The Wave’ and ‘Weeping Willow’ segments after a public campaign to save the incredibly popular WWI memorial.
The first ceramic flowers of the installation, titled ‘Blood Swept Lands And Seas of Red’, were put in place back in August and there are now more than 800,000 planted in the Tower’s moat.
People who bought charity poppies will receive them in the coming months, while the remaining parts will tour the UK before being exhibited the Imperial War Museum.
Let’s celebrate by checking out these stunning Instagram snaps of the installation.
