Ladies, fancy getting into some trouble? You’ve come to the right place. No, we don’t mean getting yourself arrested, we’re talking about the new women’s members’ club that has just opened up in Soho. Part workspace, part event space, The Trouble Club has taken over an old office space on Lexington Street until December 19 and is putting on nightly events for a ‘new generation of women’, which include talks on gaming, art, politics, sex, science and money, with notable speakers including Guardian columnist Hadley Freeman, plus Bonnie Greer, Rowan Pelling and more. Membership costs £10, which is the price of one event, and then you can come fill your boots with future evenings of fun. Members can also hire desk space, which costs £6 for the morning or afternoon and £10 for a full day. Founder Joy Lo Dico, who also edits the Londoner’s Diary in the Evening Standard, hopes that the club will find a permanent home next year. So women of London, this is probably the safest way to get into trouble!
