Northern Line extenstion to Nine Elms and Battersea.

Battersea residents rejoice – the Northern line extension is going ahead and London’s getting two new stations in your neck of the woods. One will be right at the core of the Battersea Power Station Development, while the other will be at Nine Elms, making it an official member of the Zone 1 club. These tube extensions don’t come cheap though, it will cost up to £1 billion to complete and will be funded by developments in the area. The work will begin in spring 2015 and is expected to be completed by 2020.

Have you seen the fare changes for 2015 yet?
