Aficionados of tequila and/or mezcal (and those who don’t know the difference, but would like to) should consider spending part of the weekend at the first-ever Tequila & Mezcal Festival. It’s being decanted on Saturday and Sunday (November 22 and 23) at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, and will feature talks, an exhibition of photographs taken in the mezcal-producing state of Oaxaca, food-tequila matching sessions, live music and the presence of a few restaurants. Among them is Condesa, a Time Out favourite in Covent Garden. Plus – duh! – the opportunity to sample plenty of mezcal and tequila. Tickets cost £15, plus a booking fee. Arriba! Arriba!
