They tackled the tube and gained YouTube fame after their video racked up over 5 millions views. Now it’s the Thames’ turn.
Noel Carroll and James Heptonstall (‘Race the tube’ athletes) have raced the Thames Clipper all the way along the river from the London Eye to Bankside. That’s 2.2km, five bridges and a load of meandering tourists, and they did it in an impressive eight minutes and 30 seconds. But was it good enough to beat the boat? Don’t worry, we won’t spoil it for you.
They completed the challenge on the morning of November 8, so if you happen to have been taking a stroll along the South Bank at around 10am that day, watch out, you may feature in their vid.
Why have they done it? Why the hell not, eh. YOLO and all that.
