Ever wondered what flavour vino your neighbours are quaffing? Probably not, but Naked Wines‘ map of London’s wine drinkers throws up some surprising results. Seems that all the money folks in Barking & Dagenham are saving on rent (it has some of the cheapest homes in the capital), they’re splashing out on sparkling wine! Harrow and Richmond are also on the bubbles, whereas the more outer boroughs of Redbridge, Bromley and Bexley are downing rosé like there’s no tomorrow. The survey of 2,000 people also revealed that the majority of those in zone one choose a medium or full-bodied red like a Malbec as their wine of preference, whereas north Londoners in Islington and Ealing like a light or medium-bodied white. So now you know what colour wine to bring when visiting friends across London.

Crazy for cartography? Here you go!
