Ellen Parr and Alice Hodge

Pop-up foodie aficionados The Art of Dining are bringing your Lake District camping day dreams to life with their latest incarnation at The Pickle Factory in Bethnal Green.

CAMPING-COLLECTION-2

Their latest event will be a combination of theatre, food and arty set design by Alice Hodge, who has transformed The Pickle Factory into a campsite in the English countryside. Chef Ellen Parr has designed five courses for you to munch your way through, including a posh Pot Noodle (that’s actually a type of Vietnamese pho), a campfire barbecue with a Thai twist, and a Morroccan breakfast dish with eggs and flatbread. Expect ghost stories, marshmallow toasting and a good old-fashioned sing-song to truly recreate your camping experience (minus the midges and drizzly rain).

You can join them for a romp Jan 13-18 and 20-22. So grab your torch, wrap up warm, stock up on marshmallows and get ready to go camping.
