Grab your trainers and get planning your new route to work because it’s looking like there’s going to be a 24-hour bus strike tomorrow.

People are always making changes in the new year, and TfL workers are no exception. Tomorrow there will be a bus strike due to a dispute between Unite and the bus companies over pay and conditions.

From 00.01am tomorrow (Jan 13) until 23.59 the same day London’s bus services will be majorly disrupted, including Tuesday’s night bus services. Some areas will be worse than others but it will all return to normal come Wednesday (Jan 14).

Before you go telling your boss that there’s no way you’ll be in on Tuesday, you should know that all other TfL services are operating as normal, and you can use your bus and tram season tickets on the tube, DLR and Overground.

Of course, we recommend that you give yourself extra time to get from A to Z and check out your journey updates first at tfl.gov.uk.
