Now that the Big Smoke’s bogs are clogged up with restaurants, the foodie community is moving to bomb shelters. Or at least they could be if restaurant owners win the bid to buy Soho Square’s £175,000 bunker. Also gunning for the 200-capacity air raid shelter are gym bods and music venue hopefuls, but whoever coughs up the cash best have deep pockets. This shelter has been dormant since The Blitz and requires a £2 million makeover to kit it out for public use. Oof.
