Want to find out which areas of London are barking mad? The BBC have used ten years’ worth of microchipping data to reveal what the most popular dog breeds are – and where they live.

According to their study, the UK’s favourite dog is the Labrador retriever with around 509,000 tagged in the country. Despite the popularity of the classic family pooch, central London pet owners are more likely to have a smaller breed on their lead.  In fact, Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the most popular dog breed in most areas of London.
