For a truly uplifting yoga sesh, Tower Bridge’s new glass walkway is hosting a series of invigorating vinyassa flow yoga classes, which come complete with an incredible view of the flow of London life taking place 42 metres below.
No need to fear that a headstand will result in a nose dive into the Thames, as the panels can withstand the weight of one elephant and two black cabs (no, you’re not that heavy). The panels measure 11 metres in length and 1.8 metres in width, so you should get a pretty decent view from above when you’re in your downward dog.
Everyone will be provided with a mat, but they do recommend wearing grippy gloves and socks (or studio wrap yoga shoes if you’re being fancy).
Classes have been crazy popular since their release so the first four classes (on February 16, February 23, March 2, March 9) are already sold out, but after attending a sneaky preview this morning we can now let you know that new classes are also being held on February 18, February 25, March 4, and March 11. Go Go Go!
Classes begin at 7.30am and last 50 minutes, so you may even get a nice sunrise with your yoga. Yoga teacher Billie Woodcraft will be running the sessions and tickets cost £15 per person.
Tickets to the first four dates have already sold out, but we can confirm that more dates have been added and are available here!
